Left 4 Dead 2 update: Tank goes invisible, Charger gets reward
Don’t think Valve has forgotten about you in Left 4 Dead 2. That’s clearly not the case as evidenced by the new update they’ve released for the zombie-action game. I think a lot of you would appreciate this too, considering that included in the update is a fix that should finally put an end to “rage quitting”.

Other tweaks involve the Charger and Tank infected in Versus mode. Here, the Charger will now be rewarded with points when it does the righ thing, while Tanks now go into an invisible stasis every time they spawn. Take note that they can no longer be set on fire while they do so.
As for the Versus and Co-op modes, there are also some new changes to friendly fire. If the bullet passes through an infected first before striking a Survivor, that will no longer be considered as friendly fire.
Says Valve of this newest Left 4 Dead 2 update, “What we are releasing today is not the sum of our answer to the problem but simply some of the updates that are ready to ship. More are coming.”
So wait for it.
