If you’re one of those who loved Half-Minute Hero, chances are you’ve already heard that it’s getting a sequel that drops the non-Hero parts of the game. Here are more details on what replaced the Evil Lord 30, Princess 30, and other gameplay modes that the original had.
The sequel, known as Yuusha 30 Second in Japan, has five scenarios, all of them focusing on the RPG stylings of the original Hero 30 mode: Hero 30 Overture, Hero 30 Judgment, Hero 30 Revolution, Hero 30 Ragnarok, and Hero 30 Destiny.
Details regarding two of the five have come to light. Hero 30 Revolution, which seems to be the most lighthearted, follows Princess Yushia as she escapes curfew to go on adventures. Hero 30 Judgement, on the other hand, sees the Hero fighting against a horde of demons pouring out of the gates of hell.
Developer Marvelous has also added a new co-op multiplayer mode as well as a new mode called Infinite Hero. In the latter, monsters will keep popping up but you’ll still get only 30 seconds until the world goes kaboom.
Yuusha 30 Second will be released in Japan on November 4th, exclusively on PSP.
