Tomonobu Itagaki did not mince any words about how Devil’s Third will be the best game ever. Now how far along till we get this “best game ever” in our hands? Approximately not till another three years.
According to THQ’s latest earnings release, Devil’s Third “is currently scheduled for release in THQ’s fiscal year ending March 31, 2013.”
Given that 2013 definitely falls under the “not anytime soon” category, it makes you wonder how Itagaki can guarantee it’s going to be the best game ever.
Then, you think again and realize it’s Itagaki doing the talking. We shall see if he becomes prophetic with his declarations on this one, approximately three years from now.
