In the Apple Watch ECG trademark dispute, LiveCor loses once more.

Apple Watch Series 9
U.S. Customs has found that the redesigned ECG on Apple Watch does not violate AliveCor Patents. This makes AliveCor’s lawsuits even more difficult. Apple is embroiled in multiple lawsuits relating to Apple Watch technologies. AliveCor hasn’t had any luck in court. While Masimo was able to get an import ban that Apple bypassed in order to bypass, AliveCor hasn’t had much luck. According to a CBP filing, Apple’s Apple Watch models with redesigned ECGs do not violate any AliveCor Patents. These models are therefore not covered by the International Trade Commission (ITC) Limited Exclusion Order. All of this legal jargon translates into Apple being able to import Apple Watches for sale in the US, without having to pay a $2 bond per one. This ruling is another blow to AliveCor in its case against Apple. The company is currently appealing its antitrust case that it lost in California.
