Motörhead and Rob Zombie join forces for World of Tanks Modern Armor on July 30.

How do you create a subsequent act impressive? Turn the volume up also higher. World of Tanks Modern Armor becomes quiet as Motörhead and Rob Zombie take the stage for Steel Fest, the main function of our fresh Heavy Metal season, this summer!

Just like all the best audio events, Metal Fest has become an annual occurrence. Anyone who missed our 2023 headliners ( Sabaton, Megadeth, and Iron Maiden ) is in luck, for a limited time, we’ll be bringing back last year’s content in all of its guitar-shredding glory.
But you do n’t want to just relive last year’s epic moments. You want to learn about the latest technology. This now discuss what it took for the famous Motörhead and Rob Zombie to bring this week’s occasion to life.
Motörhead blasts its means into battle with fresh content that includes:
The Thunder Chief Object 452K cylinder
The” Bomber” Skin for the FV107 Scimitar
2D Officers representing group members Lemmy Kilmister, Phil Campbell, and Mikkey Dee
3D Commanders modeled after Lemmy and the singer’s emblem, Warpig
One of the real avant-gardes of heavy material is Motörhead. Their way of life and star are still incredibly well-liked, and Lemmy, the community’s founding father, passed aside in 2015, is still revered in the community.
Lemmy was a passionate gamer, and the group was constantly involved with concepts and ideas for Vehicles ‘ new information in addition to leading Motörhead to a dreadful worldwide following. The group discusses the Lemmy 3D Commander, saying that” Modern technology has allowed us to have Lemmy fully integrated into the sport, which felt acceptable given that this is precisely the kind of game he played and thoroughly enjoyed.”
It’s a tradition that the Motörhead superfans in Vehicles ‘ design and development crew took significantly. Andy Dorizas, Tanks ‘ art director, says,” We did a ton of visual research to make sure we were making the most authentic version of Lemmy ever seen in any video game,” and we succeeded. I made certain to honor him for being the wonderful person he was.
This dedication is reflected not only in the Commanders but in the Motörhead tank and skin (” the back of the tanks, the amps—you will know if you know”, says Dorizas ) as well as the Warpig 3D Commander. When you pick Warpig from the Bomber recording support in the UI, Dorizas claims that” we even have him carrying the weapon from the Bomber album cover.”
In reality, this marks the first time that fans will get to learn Warpig’s voice, a duty that fell to another Motörhead lover: Brendan Blewett, Tanks ‘ music producer.
” Motörhead provided clear goals and direction for Warpig in that they wanted a character that was a cross between a wild, free-wheeling-no-rules cyclist and an English bulldog”, Blewett explains. I decided that I needed to consider how to go about doing this, and I decided to interpolate audio in combination with modulating a mortal voice recording against a diverse dog vocalization tracking.
So who was chosen to play this famous position, exactly? ” My sister-in-law has a puggle named Ollie, and he is a famous vocalizer when it comes to snorting and breathing and grunting and whatnot, so the solution presented itself”, says Blewett. Every line of voice is a human voice that is instantly modulated by dog vocalizations.
Maybe you go to great measures to get rock and roll.
Rob Zombie unleashes brand-new material on the field, which includes:
The Dragula T-55AGM cylinder
The” Superbeast” Skin for the M53/55
Officers in 2D and 3D have a man-like design.
With the release of Hellbilly Deluxe in 1998, Zombie established himself as a king of shock rock. He is an unparalleled artistic force. The Dragula T-55AGM acknowledges this with a style that honors the movie’s opening one.
However, because Zombie’s career spans far beyond that, his 3D Commander in specific had to reveal all of his achievements and objectives.
” We made two patterns of his 3D commander”, says Dorizas. A bad-ass ship with some major threat and a more traditional sound to Rob, according to Rob, who chose the one that was more unrelated to any song design.
No matter which action is your preferred, this month’s Metal Fest aims to joy. We’re honored to take Motörhead and Rob Zombie to you because they were among the top five most requested acts by musicians.
Thus crank it up. We’ll see you on the field for Metal Fest on PS5 and PS4 starting on July 30!
