Image Playground allows users to combine concepts in order to create an image. Users can also insert a generated picture of their own description in apps. The generated image can also be created according to the context of the existing document elements to make it more relevant to the text. For example, an article about France could generate an image of the Eiffel tower. Apple Intelligence can also improve Siri’s responses, as it is able to better understand the user. Siri will be able to have more natural conversations and also consider context and relationships. It will use data from other apps in order to make associations with people, times, locations, and topics. The build number for the iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 1.8.1 developer betas is 22B5007p. The first macOS Sequoia beta developer build is 24B5009l. What’s new in the beta? The latest version of Apple Intelligence will be available in the iOS 18.1 developer beta and macOS 15.1 developer beta if the Siri language is set to English and if the region is set to U.S. Developers will have access to the beta within hours, but waiting times may vary. In the initial release, you will find writing tools, priority message, email summaries and email smart reply. On the Lock Screen there will be automatic summarization for emails and texts, as well as summaries of transcriptions. Photos and videos will also have natural-language search. Siri will also be able to use some Apple Intelligence functionality, although ChatGPT integration won’t be available until 2024. Apple Intelligence is not for everyone. Although Apple Intelligence is a major upgrade to Apple’s operating system, it will not be available for all users at launch.
