When did Apple release the phone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro?

The iPhone 16 launch date is a subject of speculation
It’s still too early to say for sure when Apple is going to announce the iPhone 16. However, Apple follows certain patterns and so this day is a good candidate. Here’s our opinion. Apple will reveal the iPhone 16 range at an online event on September 10, 2024. Based on the last 10 years of iPhone launches, this is the best estimate. It’s also the date some AI services will give you if asked when the next Apple release is likely to take place. But, in most cases, only a few AI tools will give you that date, while others insist on September 6th and 12th. Human intelligence says Apple can launch whenever they want, but in reality there are huge logistical issues surrounding the release of millions of iPhones. Apple has done this many times, and it is likely to repeat the same pattern. This working pattern, since 2013 and the iPhone 5s release, has favored Tuesdays. Six iPhone launches took place on a Tuesday between 2013 and 2023. The rest of time, they took place on Wednesdays. The iPhone 7 range was introduced in 2016, the iPhone XS, in 2018, the iPhone 13 and 14 in 2021. Each of these iPhones, with one exception, was launched in the first two-thirds of September. The iPhone 12 range was launched on October 13 due to delays caused by COVID. The iPhone 4s was launched in October 2011 and you have to go all the way back to 2011. Apple was still trying to find the best time for iPhones at that time, and some of them were released in June. The latest September launch date was 2021, when the iPhone 13 was announced on September 14 of that year. Apple will launch the iPhone 16 in the first half September unless it throws a curveball or is forced to, as it was with COVID. It is also likely to be on a Tuesday. The dates that could be possible for 2024 are September 3 or September 10. The first date is unlikely, as it is the day after Labor Day. Apple used to practice up until the day of the event when they were live. The same problem shouldn’t arise with pre-recorded and pre-produced videos. Apple is the best in terms of logistics for a launch. Launching early September allows Apple to ship millions and then see demand increase again during the holiday season. It also means maximising the attention the launch receives. Apple wants to attract consumers, not the tech press. If the iPhone 16 range is launched on September 10, 2024 as stated, then pre-orders can begin that Friday. You’re most likely to get a new iPhone on the Friday following, September 20, 2024.
