Spreading beyond city centres in the United States, Apple Maps Appearance Around is gaining popularity in more nations.

Apple will expand Look Around into more areas. This includes expanding the Apple Maps feature to new countries like Egypt, China, or Turkey. Apple’s version of Google Street View, Look Around already covers many cities around the globe, but doesn’t reach the same number as Google’s. A future expansion may help close the gap. A number of vector tiles in the Apple Maps beta web have been revealed by MacRumors and @RhinozzCode. Look Around’s coverage will be expanded to a much larger area in the future. In the United States, it will be an expansion of major metropolitan areas and include major and minor highways. This will include rural areas as well as urban landscapes. The list of countries getting their first Look Around treatment includes Morocco, Egypt, Jordan Syria, Lebanon, China Belarus, Turkey, Bulgaria Mexico and Slovakia. Look Around’s last major expansion added six countries in central Europe to the list in mid-2023. This was two weeks after an upgrade to include more northern countries.
