phone 16 event: When did Apple declare the date?

We’re only a month from the iPhone 16 announcement. Apple’s event is expected to take place in the first two week of September. This means that the event will be announced within a few weeks. Here’s what the past tells us about iPhone 16 event timeline. Ryan predicted earlier this month that the iPhone 16 event would most likely take place on September 10. This date is most likely based on previous years and the proximity of Labor Day in the United States. Apple’s September events have been announced on the following dates for the past four years. Note that the 2020 event did not include the iPhone 12 because of COVID delays. The iPhone 12 was announced in October. 2023: Announced August 29, 2023 for an event on Sept. 12, 2023.
2022: Announced August 24, 2022 for an event on Sept. 7, 2022.
2021: Announced September 7, 2021 for an event to be held on September 14, 2021.
Announced on 8 September 2020 for an event on 15 September 2020.
Apple has changed its pattern in the past two years to announce iPhone event dates two week before the event. Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 16 event around August 27. With an event date of September 10 in mind, it’s likely Apple will announce this event sometime between August 27 and September 10.
