Jot you travel from the pages of his book world to a three-dimensional world in The Courageous Squire. But wherever he travels, risk awaits—whether it’s a frighteningly large insect in the 3D globe, or one of violent wizard Humpgrump’s terrible minions in the book. Thankfully, a helpful merchant named Martina is here to give a helping hand.
As you discover The Plucky Squire’s mini domains, you’ll experience creativity in the form of lighting. Whack branches, cut bushes, or destroy enemies, and these fascinating collectibles will fall, which can then be traded for things at Martina’s some shops. You’ll want to collect as much inspiration as you can, as they’ll allow you unlock a series of very nice, and very efficient, combat moves for Jot.
In one of these actions, Jot may throw his sword at far-offies, and if you spend more money to improve it, you can do the same. This enables you to attack enemies from a healthy range, and like magic can be used to bring your sword again if you lose it or get it stuck in a wall.
Jot can launch a potent roll strike with another move. He’ll jump his sword in a round rush and instantly injury several enemies if done correctly. For optimum damage, use this power when fighting with other players; you can even upgrade it to put a second roll.
Jot can also purchase a clever jump attack that allows him to move leaping majestically into the air and comecrashing down with his knife with devastating effect. You can also increase your standard sword attack to offer more damage, too. Humgrump’s lackeys wo n’t know what hit ‘ em.
Inspiration can also be spent on art artifacts, which reveal more about how the area of Mojo was created—including idea art, earlier versions of amounts, and other creative nuggets. Craft scrolls can be found everywhere in the game world, but they are unique to Martina’s business as well.
