With version 5.0 going live on August 28th, Genshin Impact welcomes Teyvat, the fifth big country.

Greetings, Travelers! In the forthcoming type 5.0 Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn, which will go sit on August 28th, we are excited to welcome Natlan, the fifth major nation in Teyvat, as Genshin Impact is approaching its second year. Natlan and her people stand out from other countries thanks to their dexterity and unmatched action abilities, which are renowned as the State of War or the Nation of Pyro, Saurians who have lived alongside mankind since time immemorial. We’ll give you some pointers today to help you discover this unfamiliar territory like a native or a Saurian!
Tourists who have completed Act III, Song of Dragon and Freedom in Mondstadt, and who have not yet reached Natlan may use an opened Teleport Waypoint at its gate. Tourists who have completed the Archon Quest Book I: Act III A New Star Approaches in Liyue and who have Adventure Rank 28 or higher may move on to the Archon Adventures in Natlan without first completing the requisite adventures of different countries.
The Saurian creatures in Natlan are the result of a much progression that included people. Natlan, which is located north of the plain of Hadramaveth in Sumeru, has a diverse landscape with dangerous volcanoes, flowing waters, and mountains. Version 5.0 may offer the opportunity to fulfill three of the six native tribes, the Kids of Reflections, the Princelings of the Canopy, and the People of the Springs, to learn how their members move in rough and difficult-to-cross landscapes thanks to their individual Saurians.
Travelers can temporarily transform themselves into a Saurian by indwelling them or their Spiritsconce while their experience is on hold for reasons that are still undetermined. However, travelers are unable to access the power of the Pyro component upon their arrival in Natlan for reasons that are still undetermined.
The second Fanged you perhaps indwell is a Tepetlisaurus. They are sincere companions that the Children of Reflections, a community known for its skilled workers and talented dancers inside the ravine, have taken in. You can resurrect mountains and burrow beneath as a Tepetlisaurus when you transform. By living in a Yumkasaurus, you will be able to move quickly through midair, reach higher sites with ease, and discover why the Elites of the Canopy, who hang from steep rocks with ropes, love these Saurians as extreme sports lovers. Try the Koholasarus, a laid-back tribe known for its hot springs, for a dip in the water, hot springs, or even the flowing Phlogiston streams in the air.

The Pyro element can manifest as a special resource known as a phlogiston in the Nation of Pyro. The locals can use phallogiston as a brand-new resource for movement or combat in a variety of ways. You might notice that a separate Phlogiston bar located to the right of your Saurian form will take up your skills once you’ve possessed it. Additionally, Natlan’s characters have a Phlogiston bar that appears above their HP bar. Throughout your journey, you may come across Phlogiston, either as harvestable resources, or useful tools such as the Spiritways of flowing Phlogiston, offering fast tracks to the Koholasarus and warriors from the People of the Springs to travel.
Warriors of Natlan can further enhance their abilities through the ancient ritual of Phlogiston Engravings, and thus gain the Nightsoul’s Blessing. Glowing patterns will appear on characters under the influence of the Nightsoul’s Blessing, granting them an advantage in combat.
Natlan has gone through numerous crises and dangers as the Nation of War, and it has triumphed over locals and Saurians in numerous battles. The brave warriors ‘ ancient names are honored in the tradition of their descendants. Each of the six tribes chooses a Champion from among the greatest warriors from the Children of Echoes, the Canopy, and the People of the Springs as their representatives at the Stadium of the Sacred Flame. Each of these Champions stands out for his or her own unique qualities and abilities that reflect their tribe.
Our first companion from Natlan is Kachina, a four-star Geo polearm wielder from the Children of Echoes. We can even hire her for free as a reward for Act I of Natlan’s Archon Quest, so we can meet her right away. Kachina can summon Turbo Twirly and ride it to climb walls and cliffs on daily exploration, as well as launch ground-slam attacks to deal AoE Geo DMG in combat.
Kinich, a five-star Dendro claymore warrior known for his hunting prowess in the Scions of the Canopy, uses the grappling hook skillfully to quickly swing through the air and easily reach great heights, connect with enemies, and use Loop Shots to deal significant damage. Interestingly, Kinich is accompanied by the Almighty Dragonlord, Ajaw, who is capable of unleashing dragon-breaths at intervals to deal AoE Dendro DMG when Kinich casts his Elemental Burst.
If you’re visiting the People of the Springs, Mualani, the owner of a watersports equipment store and a renowned local tour guide, is your ideal companion. Fond of watersports including swimming, surfing, and beach volleyball, this five-star Hydro catalyst wielder can mount her Sharky Surfboard and quickly move across water, liquid Phlogiston, and flat ground. In combat, as Mualani surfs around on her Sharky Surfboard, she can mark enemies in her path and inflict Sharky’s Bites on them, dealing increased Hydro DMG after multiple hits.

Natlan’s three playable characters are able to locate and mark local specialties, which benefits their entire party while interacting with certain harvestable items: Kachina can restore Stamina, Kinich can increase Movement Speed, and Mualani can restore Phlogiston. In version 5.0’s Event Wishes, Mualani and Kachina will debut in the first phase along with Kaedehara Kazuha’s rerun, and Kinich’s debut will come with the Raiden Shogun in the later phase.
The Reputation System makes a new series of three-act narrative quests for each tribe that combines traditions, stories, and people to better expose the history and heroic tales of each tribe. Visit each tribe’s Obsidian Totem Pole to unlock their Tribal Chronicles, as well as their Bounties and Supply Notices. Completing these Tribal Chronicles not only gives the corresponding tribe more knowledge about the customs and cultures of the different tribes, but it also earns them Tribe Reputation EXP and rewards.
In addition, World Quests, exciting stories, as well as Archon Quests await you in Natlan with many surprises and rewards. Travelers will have the freedom to explore all this new content at their own pace. The Sacred Flame ignores the hearts of the brave with an incandescent glow that burns! When Genshin Impact version 5.0 goes live on August 28th, we look forward to seeing you in-game!
