Smash Bros. Dojo Updated with Character Info

The official website for Super Smash Bros. Brawl has been updated with character bios and pictures for Meta Knight and Pit.

So Halberd, the ship Meta Knight used to try to take over Dreamland and the ship he made his entrance with in the trailer, is just about confirmed as a playable stage. What I find interesting is that it looks like Meta Knight’s dash attack has been revealed. A running kick? It looks a lot like the move that Dr. Mario and Mario use. I would say that the second picture above is a dash attack because it doesn’t seem like they’d make it his forward smash if he has a sword. The screenshot to the right of it looks like it’s his neutral a attack. It’s obviously not an aerial and the visual style just seems like a neutral a.

The hero of the NES game Kid Icarus. Head of the royal bodyguards for the goddess Palutena, a denizen of Angel Land. At will, Pit is able to separate and unite the blades of the Sacred Bow of Palutena, which was given to him by the goddess. This allows him to adapt to the circumstances of any battle as he fights. Just as Link’s design has evolved over the life of the Legend of Zelda series, Pit, who was born in the same time period, has taken a giant leap forward in his evolution.

So it looks like it’s confirmed that Pit can split his bow into two and use them as swords. Interestingly enough, the first picture shows him doing what I believe is a dash attack and the bow is not split up. This means that he can do melee attacks with the bow, not just the sword. The attack looks similar to Link or Young Link’s dash attack. The shot on the far right might be him jumping, but I’m not sure. The middle shots are his portrait and trailer pic.
