‘ Ted Lasso ‘ period 4 is showing signs of life

Jason Sudeikis in the role of Ted Lasso
Last updated 5 hours agoAfter a series of interviews and press junkets that lasted for months, it seems Warner Bros. has picked up the options of some of main characters in the show in preparation for the fourth season. According to a new report, Warner Bros. purchased the options for Hannah Waddingham and Brett Goldstein. Waddingham played Rebecca Walton, the owner of AFC Richmond. Swift played the director of football operations for the team, while Goldstein played the stern Roy Kent. Deadline reported on Saturday that the next step after the pickup would be to reach out to SAGAFTRA members such as Jason Sudeikis or Brendan Hunt. There are many more steps to be taken. There is no budget yet, and scheduling is the enemy to any production. The report claims early preparations are being made to start a writer’s office. Theoretically, all of this would point to a production start in early 2025. Warner Bros. and Apple TV+ have not commented on this matter, as you would expect. When asked about the possibility of a 4th season, Brendan Hunt cites an encounter with Tim Cook. Hunt told an anecdote about Cook visiting the set. He reportedly told the locker room staff, “Thanks for all your hardwork, and I hope there will be a Season 4.
