No Games for Tom Cruise’s Kids

TCMission Impossible star Tom Cruise is strict when it comes to digital entertainment; he apparently forbids his two kids from playing games and watching television. His two kids, Isabella (13) and Connor (11), are supposed to help around the house instead of wasting their time with those activities.

And although they have teachers at home, they’re encouraged to spend more time outdoors.
The kids have no computer games. And absolutely no television. None,” he said.

He defends this decision by saying, “They can listen to music and read just about any book they want, and they can choose the movies they want to see on the weekends, within reason. They also have chores, because I want them to know that it’s important to work. I had a job when I was eight years old delivering newspapers. So for me, it’s like: You want a clean room? Then you’ve got to clean your room. No one is going to do it for you.

It’s good to teach them to do stuff themselves, but no videogames and TV? What!? Thank goodness Tom Cruise isn’t my dad!
