A 7-in-1 Xtreme Firmware v1.2 by GaryOPA

I wasn’t at all surprised when I saw GaryOPA‘s name attached to this jaw dropping 7-in-1 Xtreme Firmware v1.2. After all, aside from the fact the he is a trusted name when it comes to the subject of creating legal backups, this is also a follow up or an update if you will, on his 6-in-1 with a few noticeable changes.

Changelog:

– NEW v58 Hitachi firmware added, now complete with SEVEN Hitachi drives!! (Thanks to “dvdgorila” for providing the original dump)
– GREATLY IMPROVED FLASHing  – Almost perfect flashing system!
– GREATLY IMPROVED RESTORing – Can restore drive with NO BACKUP!

At one point, I thought, he bit off more than he can chew. Because many of those that have downloaded and tried the file are having the same kind of error. At first it was thought of as just a bad download and GaryOPA suggested to delete the old file and download it again, just to make sure. But when that didn’t work, he immediately responded by putting up the correct files for people to download. This works for v32, 36, 40, 46, 47, 58 and 59 of Hitachi drives.
