A brief look at The BIGS’ game features

The Bigs - Image 12K Sports has let out a new press release that gives a bit of a glimpse at the features that will come packed in their upcoming multiplatform title, The BIGS. It’s not much, but it should prove to be an excitement booster for those who are looking forward to this game.

The press release mentions unique and intuitive gameplay controls and advanced power-up mechanics. There’s also a Turbo gameplay feature which “culminates in the ultimate batter pitcher power-up duel, where either the pitcher’s Big Heat will be the turning point, or the batter’s Power Blast will be the explosive end to the game.”

Each MLB player in The BIGS has been “individualized to emphasize their extraordinary athletic attributes.” The development team apparently paid great attention not only to the players but also to the stadium landmarks. Each MLB ballpark in the game has been stylized to highlight that particular stadium’s unique architecture.

The Bigs is currently slated for a summer release for the PS3, PSP, Wii, and Xbox 360.
