Personality wise, it seems that Sazh will be some sort of comic relief alongside the less-than-interested Lightning. Sazh seems to be tailing Lightning, who seems to try and lose poor ol’ Sazh whenever an opportunity presents itself. Despite having a light personality, Sazh actually cares a lot deep down, as seen in one of the screens, consoling a boy who he and Lightning rescued.
About the ‘fro, well, it’s one of the things he cares about. He’s very particular about his carefully-trimmed do, and so is his Chocobo chick which uses it as a nest. We already know he wields two pistols, but we can also see that he can use some magic.
