A Far Cry heard

As all eyes are focused on the unfolding Tokyo Game Show in Japan, a rather far cry is heard about halfway around the globe. It came apparently from videogame developer-publisher Ubisoft. And the message is the official announcement of Far Cry Vengeance, together with first details and some official images.

The game follows the Jacutan Archipelago events that changes the life of main character Jack Carver. A gorgeous woman suddenly appears at his home port in Micronesia, and drags him to a dangerous heist. All of a sudden, he is then hunted for a murder he never committed. To fight back, he must unleash the most savage of instincts he alone possesses.

This interesting plot becomes well, more interesting, because of the new gaming experience offered by the Wiimote and Nunchuck. Imagine yourself driving, shooting, jumping, balancing, climbing, grenading and of course, feral attacking. Opt for a surprise attack using your machete or wipe out the rebels with a machine gun. The possibilities, as they say, are limitless.

It is also interesting to note that the game’s environments are highly interactive, allowing players to use them to their advantage. Furthermore, the new Chaos mode allows gamers to fight against each other until there is just one Jack Carver standing. Far Cry Vengeance is a Wii launch title.
