This next installment to the highly successful Sega Rally series was actually first announced around April 2006, and some people were wondering what happened to it.
Sega Driving Studio was unable to provide any details about the game’s features, but the company’s representatives did mention that the game will finally careen to the PS3 this winter. They also added that while these images were not taken from an actual in-race footage, these are “indicative” of the game’s look upon final release.
They have about one more year to finish the game, and given the quality of these images, we can expect that the game’s going to get better. Also, it’s good to note that the pictures show a lot of mud and dirt, something expected from Sega’s in-game and damage engine.
