A Sneak Peek at Priests in Gods and Heroes: Rome Rising

Gods and HeroesThere are people who like the tank support of sturdy warriors. Others prefer the long-range attacks of mages and archers. However, there are also gamers who like the healing support of priests. Although these guys seem to be overshadowed by the “more offensive” characters, one can’t deny that the priest plays a vital role in every party.

So now the limelight’s on these guys who always seem to take the backstage: the priests. In Perpetual Entertainment‘s MMO Gods and Heroes: Rome Rising, the priest doesn’t seem to be any different from priests in other MMOs… or are they? Let’s check out some of their skills to find out:

  • Heal: Of course, a priest wouldn’t be considered one if it doesn’t have this skill. This ability lets the priest heal a specific wound in its ally.
  • Unit Heal: Allows the priest to restore the health of the whole party
  • Healing Genius: Gives the priest the ability to replenish the health of its allies for a certain period.
  • Draining Heal: Lets the priest convert its energy into health for a party member in need.
  • Cure Poison and Cure Plague: As you guessed it, lets the priest remove plague or poison inflicted in a certain ally.
  • Revive: Basically restores a dead party member back to life.

The priest skills don’t end there. This character also has a few offensive spells up its sleeve such as “Boreal Spirit”, which slows Down an enemy by dealing ice damage. The Sacrificial Knife or Baneful Sign can also be used to deal direct damage to opponents.

Regarding defense, the priest could foresee attacks with the “Read Omens” skill. Also, the priest can cause enemies to take flight with skills such as “Touch of the Gods” or “Fear.”

Of course, these are just some priest skills. Short as this list may be, you got to admit they’re pretty cool. Of course, there are more skills for players to discover once the game is released, so that’s something to watch out for. And once we get wind of those, we’ll let you know. So just stay tuned here at QJ for more Gods and Heroes: Rome Rising updates.
