A Spongy Character for Nintendo’s Wii

Barnacles and Tartar Sauce! Nintendo’s Wii hasn’t come out yet, but our friends from Bikini Bottom has decided to invade the Wii universe with a game called Spongebob: Creature from the Krusty Krab! The game will also be released for the Gamecube as well as for the PS2.

What does this sea creature has in store for us? It seems that Blitz Games is going to give Spongebob a surreal experience under water. Spongebob will see Bikini Bottom transform into different realms. There will be nine bizarre levels and with an entirely different gameplay for each stage. The mechanics as how each stage will go has not been discussed yet, however, Creature from the Krusty Krab will be launched during E3, so we will hear more about the game once E3 begins. Philip Oliver, CEO of Blitz Games, is expecting Spongebob to be one of the top ten games come this Christmas of 2006. This is Blitz Games’ first game for the Wii. The team is very excited about this release as this is a top brand for Nickelodeon.
