A ton of Metal Slug Anthology screenshots

Nothing new to see here for fans of the series, but anyone who isn’t familiar with Metal Slug yet might be interested in a look. These are all screens from Metal Slug Anthology, to hit the PSP in fall. The collection will include Metal Slug 1, 2, X, 3, 4 and 5. SNK Playmore has said the games will be “perfect transitions” from arcades, but it seems the 16:9 screen of the PSP won’t be fully supported, with only a stretched screen mode available apart from the normal, black-bordered 4:3 aspect ratio.

A wireless 2-player mode will however be included, and anyone who’s played a Metal Slug title will be able to tell you that blasting through hordes of pixel soldiers and tanks with a friend is insane fun.
