Aboard Super Smash Bros. Brawl’s Battleship Halberd

The last stage update we had for Nintendo‘s Super Smash Bros. Brawl involved the Pokemon Stadium, where the unnamed Pokemon Trainer should feel at home. Anyway, online site Smash Bros. Dojo has just been updated once again, informing all of us about the new stage called Battleship Halberd.

If you are not familiar with this one, the Halberd is actually a fictional airship from the Kirby series of video game titles. This menacing and powerful ship has appeared in a couple of trailers and screenshots before for Super Smash Bros. Brawl and it certainly looked magnificent.

According to Smash Bros. Dojo, this particular stage will begin in a hangar on the high seas. Players will then eventually end up on Halberd’s deck and a lot of dangers lurk around it. One of these include the double-barreled battery. The artillery, mind you, is capable of launching beams and missiles as well as attacking with its arms.

Players will be able to access Battleship Halberd in multiplayer stages and it will also play a special role in the adventure mode Subspace Emissary.
