Accessory: Rock Band microphone spotted at Best Buy

Looks like Rock Band‘s peripherals will be arriving sooner than we think. Word on the street is that the game’s microphone peripheral has already been spotted in at least one Best Buy store. Details regarding this matter are available in the full article.

Here’s a heads up for all the Rock Band (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3) vocalists out there. Rocker74 of the ScoreHero forums states that Best Buy has apparently started selling the game’s microphone peripheral for (a rather steep) sum of US$ 50. Harmonix had previously announced that they would be selling Rock Band‘s peripherals as separate kits in the upcoming months. But while they scheduled the drum kit for February 12 and the Guitar for April 1, the company didn’t say anything regarding the mic.

We imagine the guys still trying to scrounge up the rest of the Rock band kit will find this snippet to be good news. Just be sure to check with your local Bet Buy branch to be sure they’ve got stocks of this peripheral.
