Good news for folks who were hoping to get more freebies out of Flagship Studios‘ Hellgate: London. They’ve just announced that, contrary to earlier information given, Achievements in Hellgate: London will no longer be a subscriber-only feature. Instead, it’ll be made available to everyone who’s playing the MMORPG.
Not sure what these so called Achievements are for Hellgate: London? Then here’s a quick recap: Achievements are long-term goals for players that can be unlocked through normal play. For example, after killing a certain number of zombies, your Achievement log shows a potential achievement for zombie killing that can be unlocked by killing more zombies. Rewards are numerous and varied, ranging from a tag you can add to your name to particle effects that can be made available for your character.
