Activision offers refund option for Nintendo Wii Guitar Hero 3 players
It can be good to have a lot of options to choose from, such as whether to wait for the replacement of a faulty Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock disc, or to get a refund from Activision instead.
Yes, you heard us right: Activision is now offering players that very option. More details after the jump, or your money back.
For those of you who would rather not wait for a replacement disc to arrive, Activision is offering another option for the disgruntled Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock (also on Xbox 360, PS2, PS3, PC) fans out there.
Here’s the deal: obtain a full refund, instead. All you have to do is fill up Activision’s game refund form and follow the instructions noted therein. The procedure is as follows:
- Fill up the electronic form.
- Keep one copy of the form for your records.
- Place the following items in a box (preferably your Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock packaging): the guitar controller, the guitar strap and the faulty game disc in its original clamshell packaging
- Send the box and a copy of the completed form to this address via UPS 3-day: Department # 103709, Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock Game Refund, 1120 W. Warner Rd., Tempe, AZ 82584.
- Give Activision time process your refund request.
Should you be interested in taking Activision up on its offer, there’s something you should know: the source link at the bottom of the page doesn’t lead to an actual webpage. What will happen is that a prompt will appear asking if you want to download Activision’s actual PDF refund application form.
Do so and you’re good to go.
