Activision unleashes banhammer on PC Modern Warfare 2 cheaters today

The announcement was made by Robert Bowling via Twitter in response to one gamer’s concerns about cheating in the said blockbuster title. So tweeted Bowling: “Top men are on it. In fact, the Steam ban hammer is coming down on about 2,500 confirmed #MW2 cheaters on PC today.”
I hope none of you are part of that 2,500. Banhammers are never good news.
