Next game on the list to support Ad hoc Party Beta will be Phantasy Star Portable. No news yet on when this will be available in other regions, but if you can get yourself a Japanese PSN account, let us know how it goes.

Now in case this is your first time hearing about Ad hoc Party, it’s a new PSP service that gives internet compatibility to Ad hoc based games, via the PlayStation 3’s network. The PS3 even provides voice chat.

Needless to say – so, of course I’ll say it anyway – you’ll need a PS3 to make this work. Kinda defeats the idea of the Portable in PlayStation Portable, but hey, monsters need to fight.
