Advanced features of XNA build system.

Microsoft’s Frank Savage explained the ins and outs of the upcoming XNA Studio at the Game Developers Conference.

Savage rebuilt the old PC title MechCommander 2 (a title he was lead programmer on), he had an intern transfer all the old code into XNA. The outcome was improved build times, simplified cross-platform coding and made the entire coding process a lot easier.

Savage said that XNA was not finished yet but somewhere in between Alpha and Beta status.

Savage went on to say the XNA will also be compatible with PS3 and Revolution.
