Age of Conan: French and German community portals added

Two more countries have rallied up under Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures. The MMORPG’s official site is letting word out that French and German community portals have now been added to the already-existing US and UK portals. These two new portals are expected to be updated simultaneously with their English-speaking kin, and are signals of developer Funcom‘s foray into the French and German-speaking gaming community.

Funcom CEO Trond Arne Aa had this to say regarding the news:

These are both tremendously important markets for us and we know that creating solid communities in both countries is pivotal to our success there. This means not only providing information in those languages, but also to support fan sites and discussion forums where gamers can meet to share their thoughts and suggestions on the game.

Also included in both new portals are corresponding forums, so that gamers can opt to discuss game-related matters with their native tongue. The new portal are accessible via the Age of Conan site (the read link) – just click on your corresponding language’s flag, and you’re there.
