A North American version of Arc System Works‘ Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus has been announced to be in the works.
The frenetic 2D fighter is being localized by Aksys Games, with a release date set for Spring 2009. Target consoles will be the Wii, PSP, and PS2. While they’ve already made a name for themselves among Wii and PS2 console owners, as far as I know, this will be Aksys’ first PSP release.
The game’s US release will include the returning Kliff and Justice, a new story mode, and a re-tuned survival mode. It looks like the 3-on-3 tag battles in the game’s Japanese PSP release will also be an added feature.
