Alone in the Dark Makes a Comeback!
Alone in the Dark has definitely suffered major blows this past year, of course there are the handful of horrendous sequels that are better left unmentioned; and as if those are not enough, there is a movie version of the popular game that totally tanked in the box office.
Amidst all these setbacks, it seems that the happy days of Alone in the Dark fanatics are over, but here is a piece of good news (for the few who liked it at least) – the popular survival horror game is making a comeback. Players could once again take the role of Detective Edward Carnby but only this time he is investigating and doing his rounds at Central Park. According to the makers of the resurrecting title, the theme of the game is to basically defy the elements of security so as to make things and events eerie and horrific.
Fanatics could only hope that the new sequel would be as good and frightening as the original, hey hope springs eternal right? With that, I guess all gamers and fanatics could do is wait and see what magic (or tragedy) Eden Studios and Atari would do to make Alone in the Dark all alone at the top of the survival horror games genre.
