Alone in the Dark: PlayStation 3 version coming Autumn

Ah, a light at the end of the dark tunnel! Well, it’s not a bright light, but it’s still something. Atari has finally narrowed down the release date of Alone in the Dark‘s PlayStation 3 version to this Fall. More after the “read more” link below.

The Playstation 3 version of the latest installment to the Alone in the Dark series has had a series of ups and downs. Rumors of its delay have been cropping up since September of last year, and then after assurances that there will be no delay, it turned out that versions for all platforms have been pushed back.

Atari announced the release date of Alone in the Dark for the PC, Xbox 360, and Wii only a few weeks ago, pegging them for June 24, with the Xbox 360 demo arriving just before that. They now reveal that the PlayStation 3 version will be following this Autumn.

Ok, so Autumn isn’t an exact release date, but at least it’s something. We’ll let you know as soon as we hear word of the official release date, so check back for updates.
