Al-Quran for PSP v1.4 – now in French

PSP Logo - Image 1The Sony PSP is finding more uses apart from being a gaming and entertainment platform, thanks to homebrew developers who create useful applications for the handheld. One such program is Al-Quran for the PSP, the homebrewed Islamic text archive for the Sony handheld (previous update here), now in French. Check out the changelog in the full article.

Al-Quran for the PSP - Image 1Homebrew developer momochi_zabuza‘s has updated Al-Quran for the PlayStation Portable, the homebrewed Islamic religious reference archive compiled for the Sony handheld (previous update here).

The main change for this release is the addition of the French translation of Al-Quran, letting French speakers enjoy the vast resource of Islam and Muslim literature. Here’s the capsule changelog for your reference, courtesy of the ‘brew developer:

  1. major changes on the interface.
  2. no more analog stick control.
  3. no more key-in surah number.
  4. and other mini-gus
  5. the big thing is, a French translation.
