Amazon: Prototype to become an Xbox 360 Platinum Hits member

A new game is set to join in the ranks of Platinum Hits games for the Xbox 360, this according to online retailer Amazon.com. In their product listing, Activision’s Prototype is singled out as the one next in line.

 

 

 

A new game is set to join in the ranks of Platinum Hits games for the Xbox 360, this according to online retailer Amazon.com. In their product listing, Activision’s Prototype is singled out as the one next in line.

 

Prototype was released in June 2009 in North America, and in the first month alone sold some 419,900 copies. The pre-requisit for a game to be included in the Platinum Hits line is for it to have sold well. 419,900 copies in its launch month – in the US alone – is definitely good performance.

 

 

 

 

The game’s boxart will be featuring a new artwork, as well as a discounted price of US$ 29.99. Amazon does not indicate, however, when this will be out. We’re sure we’ll be hearing more about this, though.
