Amazon reveals hints on Halo 3 release date

When it comes to Halo 3‘s release date, most sites out there would say this:

Now if you take the time to go to Amazon and look up Halo 3 you’ll see this:

For those of you who are a bit two lazy to click on the outlandishly huge thumbnail above and still can’t read the date encircled in red, it says that the item will be available on Amazon on March 31, 2007.

Now, we’re not too familiar about the time differential between something being available on most retail stores and something being available in Amazon, but this could a least serve as a good reference point for any estimates on the release date. We’re guessing that we won’t be seeing much of Halo 3 news during X06, probably just trailers, and a playable demo only available to selected few. After all, it’s only one week after TGS 2006, and most publishers, even Bungie, are under pressure to be picky about what games they’re going to show off. And they just announced Halo Wars, so they’re probably working hard on that one instead.
