An update on Khorium’s status

A quick little update for World of Warcraft this lovely, lovely weekend! This next one has the potential to stop us from singing folk songs in relation to the apparent low presence of the valuable purple ore called Khorium. Blizzard‘s Tseric, helpful as ever, posted this reply in the game’s official forum:

We’ve isolated the issue with Khorium not spawning properly. We are currently in the stages of retesting with the correct data and it appears that this shouldn’t require any sort of restart. We’ll get the changes pushed shortly. Apologies to all of the desperate miners and affiliated crafters. Khorium should see an emergence in the market soon.

Well, that is good news. Khorium, as you might be aware of, is only available for level 70 characters. It was reported that Blizzard might have swapped this ore for lower level ores to give the new players an easier mining experience. While that is hospitable and good of them, Blizzard should as well look after seasoned players.

By the way, the same thing also happened in the Dirgehammer server. But instead of low spawning rate, the ore was gone completely for that server. Good thing though, the devs over a Blizzard were quick to respond and fixed the problem immediately. If that is any indication, then we guess we will all have Khorium galore in no time.
