Another Brawl Update: Fight it out in Yoshi’s Island

Winter Wonderland: Yoshi's Island - Image 1Here’s yet another update coming from the Smash Brothers Dojo website, and it’s another locale you and three other buddies can go around bashing each other’s heads in. Presenting Yoshi’s Island, a battleground of tilting platforms and dubiously-grinning clouds.

Yoshi’s Island is definitely easy on the eyes – having that simplistic pastel color-drawn thing going on with it reminiscent of the game it came from, and definitely a trademark of all Mario games.

One thing potential brawlers should note is that the central platform tilts to and fro – so you may want to watch where you’re jumping. Shyguys and the occasional support ghost often pop up at random times, with the latter often passing by to assist players lay the beatdown on fellow players.

There’s also the fact about Yoshi’s Island being the first announced stage in Brawl to actually have weather – that is, you’ll see the stage’s atmosphere to change drastically as it cycles through the four seasons.

Certainly a good place to brawl in. More updates about the highly-anticipated beat-em-up title, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, as we get them.
