AOU 2007: the Silent Hill arcade game

Proving that the world of coin-op isn’t dead – or lost in the mist, Japanese news site GAME Watch reports that the people from Konami gave their Silent Hill light-gun game a debut at the AOU Arcade Game Exhibition 2007. The game’s entitled Silent Hill: The Arcade, and players can choose to be either Eric or Tina (the two lead characters), and they step into the foggy other-world that is Silent Hill, where in you have to fend off undead nurses, creepy babies, and even good old Pyramid Head.
The gun holds ten shots and shooting off-screen reloads. The red button in the panel has to be pressed at the right moment to progress in the game.
