Apple To Squish iTunes Bugs With 7.01 Update
Apple SMASH! Rawr! If you’re one of the thousands of people that crashed Apple’s support forums with complaints of the buggy iTunes 7.0 release, you can stop hitting F5 now and put down the pitchforks, a patch has just been made available.
The release notes aren’t particularly that extensive, with Apple only mentioning that “iTunes 7.0.1 addresses stability and performance issues with Cover Flow, CD importing, iPod syncing, and more.” Either way, as long as it works and works well, we’re all good right?
Among the complaints leveled at the version 7 release of iTunes, which Apple hailed as the “most significant enhancement to the worldÂ’s most popular music jukebox and online music and video store since it debuted in 2001,” we’re issues relating to frequent crashes, poor audio quality and interface graphic anomalies. Cross your fingers, now if they’ll just lower the price of those movies and up the image quality a wee bit…
