Even with all those
April 2007 NPD charts around, PlayStation 3 fans shouldn't lose hope. Sony's next-gen console is still fighting, in
Germany at least.
Here's the console sales for Germany, month of April:
- Wii: 20,000
- PS3: 16,000
- 360: 9,500
That's a lot different from the units sold at launch, which Xbox 360 dominated. Here are the numbers:
- Xbox 360: 262,000
- Wii: 222,000
- PS3: 70,500
The question still remains: Will games make it to Germany? With the
government aggressively banning violent video games (or at least removing certain parts), we can only hope for our German gaming comrades to receive titles such as
MGS 4 and
DMC 4.
