Arkham Asylum GotY also headed for North America

When the Batman: Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition was announced, it was only scheduled for release in PAL territories. Fortunately, Eidos isn’t leaving North America out of the 3D crime-fighting.

The Game of the Year edition will come with the free-to-download challenge maps in-disc, but more notably, this edition has TriOviz 3D support for both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, meaning you can stalk the scumbags and bash the baddies all in glorious 3D. Batman-themed 3D specs will be included in the package, and you don’t need a pricey 3D TV set to be able play.

No exact date yet, but it appears that it’s North America’s turn to wait – Eidos is targeting a May release for them. Pricing still TBA.

The PAL territories will be getting theirs on March 26th.
