Looks like Japanese mechaphiles will be getting another giant robot game to play on their PlayStation Portables soon: a PSP remake of From Software‘s Armored Core 3.

Looks like Japanese mechaphiles will be getting another giant robot game to play on their PlayStation Portables soon.

According to the latest Famitsu issue, a PSP remake of From Software‘s PS2 title Armored Core 3 will be announced this Friday. Armored Core 3 Portable will include a multiplayer ad-hoc mode as well as support for Sony‘s Ad-hoc Party service. Customization options have also been beefed up.

The announcement’s still coming but the game already has a July 30 release date. It’s still Japan-only at the moment, but since the original was released overseas maybe this remake will have a similar fate.
