Ashen Empires – The Sands of Creation Expansion Announced
Iron Will Games has announced the second expansion for its MMORPG Ashen Empires.
The Ashen Empires: The Sands of Creation expansion will allow players to build, own and maintain property. After purchasing a deed, players can start construction of a simple house using available raw materials. Bigger properties would require more resources. The Lotorian Tax System will ensure that owners maintain their houses.
If building a dream house is not a top priority, players can travel to the continent of Artonia, home to a lost and faded civilization. Behind its hot deserts and lush beautiful oasis are ancient artifacts, ruined temples and lost cities. This is also where players can uncover the mysteries behind the fall of the Artonians.
Three new cities will be introduced in the expansion: The evil city of Subashi, the good city of Sardincia and the neutral city of Taklamakan. Players can travel back and forth to the city of Taklamakan from the cities of Silvest, Whisperdale and Krog, through a technology that is currently being developed by Mages of Lotor.
Players will also have an array of quests that will allow them to discover the ancient mysteries of Artonia. New items and rewards are up for grabs. The skill of RuneCrafting will also be introduced to construct magic runes and totems for use in spellcasting and combat.
To make the game more challenging, Battle Horned Vipers, Giant Burrowers and Sand Elementals, and other fantastical creatures will greet players as they venture deep into the new dungeons that lie below Artonia.
The Sands of Creation expansion is expected to become available by the end of summer for less than $15.00.
