Assassin’s Creed 3 will have new hero, new setting

Ubisoft will be sticking to what they started in Assassin’s Creed 1 and 2. For the series’ third numbered installment, Ezio’s out and a whole new hero is stepping into his sneaky shoes.

Ubisoft will be sticking to what they started in Assassin’s Creed 1 and 2. For the series’ third numbered installment, Ezio’s out and a whole new hero is stepping into his sneaky shoes.

“Assassin’s Creed 3: new setting, new hero. That’s the way it works,” Ubisoft’s Jean-Francois Boivin told Gamerzines. “We know what we’re doing; we’ve had a plan for a long time where this license is going to go.”

Ezio fans won’t be saying goodbye to the Assassin’s Creed 2 hero anytime soon, though. Ubisoft is bringing him back in Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood this November.
