We have received word from Japanese online retailer Play-Asia about a special offer for Assassin’s Creed fans. They are offering the special Collectors edition box set for just US$ 59.90 in either PC, PS3, or Xbox 360 format. The Assassin’s Creed Collectors box set not only gives you the great game, shipped as soon as it is released in 2007, but also a 12″ Figure of the game’s main character Altair (yes, that’s the guy you keep seeing in all those screenshots).

Like most collectors editions, Assassin’s Creed will fly off the shelves, and only a limited amount are available so you will have to get your order in early to secure yourself a place on the collectors edition list. Remember, the game is likely to cost US$ 59 anyway when it comes out, so this collectors edition really is a bargain.
