Now, here’s a clip that’d make for good movie material. We’ve just managed to pick up the official launch trailer for Ubisoft‘s Assassin’s Creed, marked for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

The trailer will deliver an introduction to the title’s setting, and of Altair’s role in preventing the Crusades from getting any bloodier. And while we won’t spoil anything, we do point out the kick-ass music that accompanies the video – here’s to hoping there’s more of these tracks in-game.

As a recap, Assassin’s Creed for North America has already launched, with Australia and New Zealand expected to receive it by November 21 (due to shortages, it seems). In either case, consider this trailer one for the road, as you trot off to purchase the actual game. Happy viewing!
