If you still don’t have a copy of Ubisoft‘s latest stealth-killing masterpiece, Assassin’s Creed for the Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3 and PC, then you’re missing out on a whole lot of awesome. Free-flowing levels, a crowd mechanic that forces you to not only think about your route but what approach you’re going to make, and a killer combat system – Assassin’s Creed is definitely worth a look into, and we see why in this stealth gameplay video.

For those of us yet to score a copy of the highly-original game that’s all about shanking people in the back when they’re not looking – that’s Ubisoft Montreal’s Assassin’s Creed for the Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3 and PC – here’s a brief glimpse of what we’re missing via this fresh gameplay trailer of the PS3 version. Check out Altair’s moves as they ooze with the same legendary expertise as an assassin of old.

Well, for an assassin that can probably take down an army, Altair’s swordplay seems to get blocked a little bit too often for comfort, but there’s no denying that he gets ’em at the very last strike (which, in all honesty, looks quite brutal). And as usual, the city that Altair’s doing his thing in is teeming with life with innocent bystanders all around, which not only makes the idea of remaining undetected while killing people challenging, but also doubly exciting.
