Assault Mission v0.1b

There’s always something special about the first release of a homebrew game. Yes, it’s not quite there yet in terms of being complete and there’s still a lot that needs to be done, but you get to see the potential gameplay experience it would bring as you go along. Such is the case with DimensionT‘s little program of arcade shoot-em-up joy, Assault Mission version 0.1b.

Well, it’s sort of a flying game for now, as there’s not quite much to do except to fly around and enjoy the scenery, as well as the nifty background music. DimensionT, having first released a version that isn’t quite running at full speed due to the clouds, managed to make everything run as smooth as silk with the clouds intact in version 0.1b. It’s a work in progress and we can’t wait to see what else DimensionT has planned for the game.
