Athens declares Siege War in Voyage Century Online

IGG announces that the King of Athens (yep, not the real world Athens, Greece – or Athens, Georgia) is throwing the gates of the city open to all guilds to battle it out for control and for the city’s wealth. This is the first official Guild Wa – er, Siege War of Voyage Century.

Complete and detailed (and long) rules to applying for, and conducting one’s self, in a Siege War can be found via this link to the VCO Community site. Important thing is, “Siege War is crucial to the development of guilds.” Even more important when one wants to command the seas and lord it over everyone else – in other words, be the “Unrivalled King” in the game. Winning control of Athens grants access to important military resources.

Well, at least it’s an alternative to whatever Valentine’s Day plans you’ve got in port.
